Summer is officially over and autumn is here in full strength with all its beautifully colored leaves and sweater-friendly temperatures. I love this season for many reasons, but above all for the makeup. Last month I talked about my 5 favorite berry- and plum-colored lipsticks for the autumn season, now it’s time to talk about the rest of the products I like to wear them with. This is not necessarily a post about the current fall makeup trends but rather about autumn products which I’ve loved to wear over the last years in more or less the same combination. Eventually, I believe these colors never go out of season and always come back during fall in a similar way.
Although I tend to buy more on the high street, I still believe there are many low-cost products and brands which perform just as good for a fraction of the price. I collected my 10 favorite budget items that I prefer buying at the drugstore instead of the perfumery.
I like to pack light when I go travelling, whether I leave for a weekend trip or a longer vacation. Over the years, I found my personal favorites, which I can use for a variety of different looks.
There hasn’t been much on my wishlist lately and I’d say these are mainly products I have been thinking about for months already.
If there is one thing I am mostly looking forward to in autumn, I’d definitely say berry- and plum-colored lipsticks! I wear these shades all year long but most frequently when the days get shorter and colder. Over the summer, I prefer light textures and bright colors, whilst these ones are more on the darker side. I’ve accumulated a few shades from a low to a high price that I adore.
This month I don’t have many favourites to point out as I have been sticking to a pretty boring routine. Yet, there are few products I liked a lot or was positively surprised by in September.
Autumn is approaching and winter is not far away either. It’s time to get out the warm sweaters, cozy boots and berry lipsticks…but it’s definitely not time yet to say goodbye to the beautiful summer tan we worked on over the last months!
I’m not a heavy perfume user, but I like to try different fragrances depending on my current mood. Over time I’ve collected quite a big perfume stash but there are few fragrances I always come back to.
If you are blessed with curly or wavy hair just like me, you probably went through the same struggles I experieces over the years. I’d like to share some tips and my favorite products which helped me to maintain my mane.
